How I upped my game on LinkedIn (without falling asleep)
I know I know - Linkedin isn’t the sexiest of social media platforms.
Unless recruiters and PR companies do it for you.
But when I came across Sarah Santacroce’s blog, I was actually kind of fascinated by all the features Linkedin offers now, that I certainly wasn’t aware of when I saw it merely as an online CV.
I got to work upping my game.
You know what? It wasn’t painful at all. It was refreshing to use a social media platform that was geared all around my work experience, my skills and where others were in the same mindset.
With the Pulse and Slideshare, it’s also a great place for us to share our blog posts to a whole new readership.
If you’re interested in the steps I took to polish my Linkedin profile, you can read the full post here.

thanks so much for your post, Cat. It was great to have a ‘customer’ perspective on my blog for a change ! Thanks again for taking the time to write !
^_^ Very welcome Sarah! And thank you for letting me share on your blog - hope people take action from it 😉
hi Cat! interesting- I always forget about LinkedIn, because it does seem like one of the lesser used platforms, doesn’t it? I’ll have to polish up my account- I literally haven’t been on for over a year!
I know right! I think this is how 90% of people feel even if we’re pretty savvy on the other platforms. I think it’s a great opportunity to reach some new people - you never know what could come from it!
